Where Will You Spend Eternity?
You have probably realised that you are not going to live forever. You have probably lost family members and close friends to death. And you have, by now, probably realised that LIFE is shorter than what you originally anticipated, and that not even your next heartbeat is guaranteed. Like all that came before you, YOU WILL DIE — it's just a matter of when.
Thereafter awaits ETERNITY, of what the BIBLE describes as HEAVEN or HELL.
If you don't believe in the BIBLE, don't even bother to read further. Because the following passages are all based on the ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF THE BIBLE as the WORD OF GOD.
If you are happy to go to HELL, also no need to continue reading. IF you want to take your chances by relying on your own version of truth, or the fallacy of a 'loving god' who will not allow people to perish in hell for all eternity, you are welcome to also stop reading.
BUT, if you are hungry for the TRUTH as depicted throughout the BIBLE as the WORD OF GOD, then continue reading.
Question One: How can I be sure that I will go to Heaven?
Answer One: YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.
JOHN 3:3 – "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (New King James Version)
Question Two: Why does JESUS say that it is necessary for a person (even "good" people or "church people") to be "BORN AGAIN" in order to enter Heaven?
Answer Two: Because GOD is HOLY, and we are SINFUL. NO SIN can exist before GOD.
ROMANS 3:23 – "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (New King James Version)
Question Three: What, then, is the CONSEQUENCE of mankind's sin (the "original sin" from Adam and Eve, which causes all people to be born automatically into sin) when compared to GOD's absolute HOLINESS?
Answer Three: ROMANS 6:23 – "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (New King James Version)
Question Four: But what about people who claim that they are actually fairly "good people," and that a "loving GOD" would not send people to HELL? After all, I am not as bad as some other people, and I even pray and go to church sometimes? I am "spiritual"?
Answer Four: Nobody is "good". IF you have done ANYTHING wrong throughout your life, you are in fact already a sinner.
1 JOHN 1:8–9 – "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (New King James Version)
Question Five: But I have heard often that GOD IS LOVE. How can a "loving God" send people to hell?
Answer Five: GOD sends nobody to hell — all people are in fact already on the way to HELL because we are descendants of Adam – who chose AGAINST GOD.
GOD only SAVES certain people, who then, out of gratitude for their salvation, begin to walk the narrow road to HEAVEN and try to do HIS WILL (Matthew 7:14).
MATTHEW 7:14 – "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (New King James Version)
Question Six: IF all men have sinned and GOD is HOLY and no sin can enter His Kingdom, WHO CAN THEN BE SAVED?
Answer Six: ONLY if someone WITHOUT SIN or BLEMISH offers to take the punishment for your sin, can you be saved. That PERSON is GOD HIMSELF, who in JESUS CHRIST came to earth 2026 years ago, and was beaten and CRUCIFIED and descended into HELL on your behalf, to SAVE YOU FROM ETERNAL CONDEMNATION.
Question Seven: BUT HOW CAN I BE SAVED?
Answer Seven: By accepting JESUS CHRIST as your personal Saviour, and asking Him to forgive your sins and receiving HIS death on the cross for your sins as your "pardon" so that you can stand before GOD.
In a NUTSHELL, this is the process or moment of being "BORN AGAIN" as explained above — that moment in time when a person sincerely prays and accepts JESUS CHRIST into his/her life for the first time.
IF you have done this before (perhaps long ago at a school camp, but have been lead astray), RATHER MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE AND PRAY IT AGAIN. One day, GOD is not going to blame anyone for making DOUBLY sure that they truly ARE Born Again!
REVELATION 3:20 – "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." (New King James Version)
Pray This Prayer Right Now
Please pray the SINNER'S PRAYER THIS VERY MOMENT, and accept JESUS into your heart and life, and LIVE FOR HIM from this day forward:
Lord Jesus Christ,
I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself.
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead.
Please forgive me of all my sins and wash me clean in Your precious blood.
I repent and turn away from my sin.
Come into my heart and into my life as my Lord and Saviour.
Help me to follow You, obey You, and live for You from this day forward.
Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life.

Question Eight: HOW can I be sure that I am now truly BORN AGAIN after asking JESUS to forgive my sins, wash them away in His blood, and come into my heart and life?
Answer Eight:
JOHN 1:12 – "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." (New King James Version)
ROMANS 10:9 – "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (New King James Version)
Question Nine: But aren't all religions basically the same, just with different names for the same God?
Answer Nine: Definitely not! BECAUSE JESUS says in JOHN 14:6 – "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (New King James Version)
Question 10: WHAT NOW?
Answer 10: NOW you are BORN AGAIN and a child of the LIVING GOD through the Grace of His Son JESUS CHRIST. Go tell someone that you have made the decision for JESUS and that you are now a "born again" CHRISTIAN. It will NOT be easy – it takes courage. But it is important. You will probably lose some friends. Join a good church – you will make new, better friends. Read your Bible every Morning and Evening (Start with the fourth book in the New Testament – the GOSPEL OF JOHN) and pray – in fact, simply TALK TO GOD. He now calls you His friend. And resist temptation and the devil – he WILL tempt you and try to convince you that you have made a mistake to CHOOSE JESUS. Stay on the narrow road.
